Approach

My main approach is based on the work of Carl Gustav Jung, a Swiss psychologist. By studying how his own life experiences affected him and shaped his own sense of himself, Jung developed techniques which allowed him to help others to gain a better understanding of their own situations. A particular feature of Jungian psychotherapy is the exploration of dreams to provide insight into unconscious behaviour and feelings. All aspects of life are considered; body, mind, spirit and soul.

Together, therapist and client work towards a deeper understanding of the issues presented and a sense of balance and wholeness.

I work with individuals, groups and couples. Because no two people are alike, I view all clients as human beings, not as patients, and the therapy is uniquely adapted to each person. I offer a variety of approaches such as analysis, working with dreams, movement and drawing/painting.
